Does Title Means Entitlement?

Does Title Means Entitlement?

In the church world today, we see some people who wear these titles such as ‘Bishop’, ‘Evangelist’, or a combination of titles such as ‘Apostle Prophet’, ‘Evangelist Teacher’, or ‘Bishop Prophet Pastor Evangelist Dr. Reverend” with conceit, arrogance, and pride. Many of the ones who self-appointed themselves to their applicable title believe that their self-appointed “Title” Means “Entitlement”. In other words, because a person flaunts the ‘title’ of pastor, prophet, apostle, etc. automatically means that they are ‘entitled’ to respect, honor, perks of super luxury, words spoken without question, the right to demean others without facing rebuke, and submission by everyone to them while they submit to ‘no one but Jesus’.

No matter what ‘titles’ these men wear.
No matter what clerical robes and ’special clothes’ they wear in the pulpit.
No matter if their arrogance of a ‘title’ means in their eyes ‘entitlement’ to special perks, treatment.

Take everything they say and place into action Acts 17:11 their words, actions, and deeds even if they threat and intimidate you with 1 Chronicles 16:22, Psalms 105:15, and the Genesis 20:7.

Acts 17: (NKJV)

10 Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. 12Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men.
