A quote from R.F. Capon:
The Gospel of Grace must not be turned into a ‘bait and switch’ offer. It is not like one of those adverts for $60 airfare to Melbourne, and when you ring up you find that the only 6 seats at that price are already sold, so you must pay full fare. We must not read Jesus as baiting us with Grace, only to clobber us in the head with the book of the law once he has us cornered.
