Karen, I don't think that the Saint Peter church keggers were a major factor in why RC Sproul Jr and his fellow Elders were defrocked. It looks like all the concerns over RC Sproul Jr.'s partying and his other abuses were more than the RPCGA were willing to put up with. The RPCGA has defrocked RC Sproul Jr.

I too have got “a deep concern for todayâ€™s modern church.” Maybe my concern is different from RC Sproul Jr.’s concern, but it’s a concern. Pastors are required to be “sober, and of good behaviour.” (1 Timothy 3:2)

RC doesn’t seem to have a good reputation in that department. Speaking of having a good reputation, “Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.” (1 Timothy. 3:7)
