The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.

I have always liked this verse because it has always given us wisdom when applied to everyday life. If one looks at this in the financial realms, one could very use this verse as a counter claim to the Word of Faith teachings of ‘the hundredfold blessing’, ‘blab it and grab it’, and ‘confess and possess’.
However, I would like to look at this verse in another realm of thought…..

It was a very somber day at church. It appears that way too many members decided to place their faith…
