A week has passed since I wrote the first part to the Inadequacy articles. I still have another week to decide if I want to go to this holiday party or not and if I do, go lonely. What really went through my head while I played the now famous seek and scan game everyday while driving home from work was the fact that I once again heard the I Hope You Dance song and I started to feel like a rank hypocrite in that area.

Last night, in the deep silence of the loneliness which is my bed, I began to think about a conversation I had with some friends. The conversation involved the opportunity to go away for a weekend out of town to a holiday party sponsored by my employer. The scope of the holiday party is designed to where people and their spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend can have a night of food and dancing and the following morning go out to see some sights and entertainment while the ladies shop at the outlet …

I went to church this morning and heard the sermon which was based out of Exodus 35:30 – 36:7 which was about Serving that was a very intriguing sermon unto the ‘catch’ point where certain ministries and outreaches within the church needed help and of course after hearing the sermon, you are supposed to feel guilty for not doing enough and automatically volunteer for something by responding to the golden opportunity to put the sermon into action. Mickey at Heretics”R” Us has written another interesting piece of blog entitled Full-Time Life that has really made me think about the life of Jesus in reference to the ’seperate’ lives we live today. We are so consumed with not sinning that we have to seperate ourselves from everything that may give us an opportunity to sin instead of being in a world and fighting the temptation to sin within us to crucify our flesh.
