It’s been time for the church to make the shift from being evangelpolitical where the church expects the goverment and Congress to be their hired evangelist to being evangelistic again where the church goes out and evangelizes their city and enact change one soul at a time.

Amen to your post. I am heartened to read in blogdom land so many who are saying what you and I are saying about this. But sadly, blogdom land is also saturated with those (mostly young white guys) who are died-in-the-wool Christian Rightists. I don’t mean that they are conservative..period. I mean they really believe that George Bush is the assistant Messiah.
