I can not understand why everybody is raving over the new hot television show ‘Desperate Housewives’. I can not see how people find this show watchable. If a man dated a married woman, the married woman divorces her current husband, and the woman decides to marry this man, what would make this man think that she will not get ‘desperate’ for some craving outside of the new marriage?

Watching the news channels, they appear to have another catastrophe to focus their attention on in reference to the Tsunami that happened in Asia. Seeing the news coverage, it reminded me greatly about the news coverage we saw when 9-11-01 happened. When I mentally compared and contrasted the news coverages of 9-11-01 and the tsunami, I remembered something that took place that made many televangelists very angry.
Christians shifted their charitable dollars from the televangelist to relief agencies and local ministries helping people in need.

Reading the Scriptures last night, I was thinking about the burden of the true prophet of God. I thought about the ones who really are profit$. I thought about the ones who thrive on gloom and doom. I thought about the ones who are so hyper-positive as to not offend anyone. I thought about those who love to rebuke everyone and publically embarass and expose them. However, I thought about the real pressure, burden that the true prophet has felt and the consequences that come to those who are false …

Nikkiana (my new found blog friend and fellow Brennan Manning forums member) over at Every Tomorrow has a most interesting article entitled On Church Websites & Online Ministry where she discussed the need for churches and online ministry to have high quality web sites that are informative, short to the point, quality content, changing, and aesthetically pleasing.
I agree with her points because I too, try to have an informative, short to the point, quality content, and aesthetically pleasing web page.

Sitting in church this morning, I was listening to the pastor as he preached his sermon on getting to the heart of the matter. I then had some thoughts that I was going to blog about (I will later) until he began discussing many ways that the heard could be defiled. One of the ways mentioned was in the area of theft to where he referred us to per his words
