The mens basketball coach at Temple University was suspended for the rest of the regular season by the university (after the coach imposed on himself a ‘one game’ suspension) for telling one of his players to be a goon and play agressively rough. This player (Nehemiah Ingram) fouled out in 4 minutes against Atlantic 10 rival Saint Joseph’s (last years cinderella darlings) and broke the arm of forward John Bryant.

It appears as if the coach was venting frustration at what has been a very disappointing season for the coach. In fact, Cheney, who has coached Temple for the past 33 years, is now indecisive on whether he will be back to coach the team next year.
