I’m afraid so.

The Sunday before last, I was flipping the channels (after seeing the local forecast on the Weather Channel and the lovely and perky Julliet Huddy on Fox and Friends Weekend Edition) and I came across this televangelist on both the USA Network and the TBN at the same time.

The first thing I saw was this guy (may be the son of Dr. Ed Young of The Winning Walk Christian television show; different web pages both confirm and also deny this therefore I really do not know), dressed up like he just got a makeover from the Queer Eye For The Straight Guy bunch on a stage trying to sound Australian like Brian Houston of Hillsongs fame.
He proceeded to read Luke 10:38-47 (Mary sitting at the feet of Jesus and Martha serving) discussing Martha’s attitude and he referred to this as:

A Catfight in J-Town

Most horrific presentation of this story I had ever heard. All of this in the name of being ‘relevant’.
