It seems that everywhere I go in the ’sphere’ we call Christianity, there is always something that someone is asking people to ‘repent’ over. Usually the call for repentance is called out with a verse such as 2 Chronicles 7:14 to justify the repentance. I was reading this post about another prominent televangelist who was indicted by a federal grand jury on Tuesday on charges of income tax evasion. After reading this article, the first thing that came up in my mind was:

I was reading a passage in John 11 about Lazarus and one word in these two verses really got my attention:
33Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.
38Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.
