It appears at this time that Ophelia is stationary and moving very slow, the latest projected strike of land has now been moved further north towards Morehead City for Wednesday afternoon. Turning on the Weather Channel this morning, Jeff Morrow is already at nearby Wrightsville Beach, NC doing his hourly report. Wal Mart at 6 AM had already placed some of the bottled water, batteries, and flashlights at the front of the store.
However, you are still wise and be alert and be prepared.
