I was watching the archived stream of the 1-26-06 edition of TBN’s Praise The Lord program awaiting to watch the Mario Murillo segment. Before Murillo was interviewed, Paul Crouch, Jr interviewed a man by the name of Ralph Winter who is a movie producer. He was talking about movies and the success of Narnia and The Passion influencing Hollywood to produce some more Christian movies (in reference to the new Michael W. Smith movie). What he stated was in talks for future projects really floored me.

It was announced at ‘the church’ today that the Presbytery had given the Elders the go-ahead to begin the formation of a new Senior Pastor Search committee. I pray that the new committee finds a new pastor that wants to be a true pastor and not a purpose-driven politician.

It appears per this Mark Driscoll article that Ravi Zacharias is becoming more deeply concerned with the emerging church because (per Driscoll’s words) “it held a low view of truth and was gaining momentum as a gathering point for all kinds of aberrant Christian doctrinal agendas.”
I’m starting to garner more and more respect for Mark Driscoll.
