Penteparanoia Part 7

19 March 2006 One Comment

Last night in my living room between watching NCAA basketball (and occurring the hour between the end of Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC, and the beginning of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on Spike TV), me and my friend “Triple P” did something that we had not done together seriously for the past couple of years.

We talked theology……

Our conversations started with something that was of a personal nature not to be mentioned here on the blog and eventually led to the question of what I was reading in the Bible. I had responded that I was reading through the book of Acts but was not at the point of shipwreck. I mentioned that I was impressed at how sermons were delivered from the latter chapters because it was hard for me to see this. Honest. From there we went to talk about how many of the episodes the apostle Paul went through in this book was brought about via the actions of women. It was there we progressed the conversation and discussed this when the gears started spinning within me about something common and prevalent in Pentecostal circles.
