It was announced today by the chairman of the pastorial search committee that the Senior Pastor Search committee was still searching and more resumes had already started to come in and that resumes were still being accepted at this time. Without disclosing names, it was also announced that a couple of the applicants had roused up the committe’s interest. It was also disclosed that the Presbytery had an all-day weekend meeting with the search committee to discuss guidelines and that arrangements were being made to possibly interview some candidates and to further advertise the position at the national General Assembly meeting in June.
The congregation was asked to still pray for the committee members while at the same time honor confidentiality bu not asking committee members who was seriously being considered.
