A friend of mine sent this quote to me:

I wish they would remember that the charge to Peter was “Feed my sheep”, not “Try experiments on my rats”, or even “Teach my performing dogs new tricks”. – C. S. Lewis

I do not know from which C.S. Lewis book this was from, but the quote really resonates within me. It seems that all the Christian megatrends are not feeding sheep, but instead either experimenting the latest pragmatic church growth movement or teaching new ‘tricks (bait and switch) ‘ for evangelism.
