The time of prayer for ‘the church’ happened earlier this evening. The latest on a search for a new pastor is that there is no change from the last update and the search is continuing. Worship, confession of sins, repentance, and prayer was lifted up for the church. Prayer was also lifted up for the attitude of worship and for the direction of worship.

This morning, I was reading this post from the Journal of Ruth where she was discussing reading a post from Internet Monk (now pulled) about the Rev. Kyle Lake tragedy and how two different people are estatic because the now deceased Rev. Lake was their poster boy of what happens to people who disagreed with them.
