It appears that the Little League World Series is now getting the same treatment like other major sporting events. ESPN.com is reporting that due to an incident that happened on Sunday night (a Staten Island, N.Y. player was heard saying a cuss word and the manager reacted to the filthy language by slapping the player), all remaining games of the Little League World Series will now (effective Monday, August 21, 2006) be televised with a five second delay.
How tragic.
