The time of prayer for ‘the church’ happened earlier this evening. The latest on a search for a new pastor is that there is no change from the last update and the search is continuing. Worship, confession of sins, repentance, and prayer was lifted up for the church. Prayer was also lifted up for the attitude of worship and for the direction of worship.
Prayer was also brought forth for a much needed outpouring of the Holy Spirit to take place within the church and also within the members, victory in the midst of the battles and trials, the pastoral search committee, the entire Christian education curriculum and for ministries to both the body and evangelism outreach, for God’s hand on the leadership, and for men and women (and the next pastor) to stand up and not compromise the Gospel by selling it our for numbers, money, affluence, and influence.
