I'm sorry ... :O) I'm just busting out laughing at the story! It sounds like a church I used to attend, which I left when they began tying people down to chairs, screaming at them for the DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVILS to come OUUUUUUUUUT, inthanamaJaysus. Sounds like what they might be into today, who knows, eh?

[...] I’d have to say I’m a little envious. Some of my fellow bloggers are getting bigtime mainstream media attention, and well, I’m not. So what am I so jealous about? First, Adam Walker Cleaveland got a nice plug in the Washington Post today. Of all the emerging church blogs in all the blogosphere, WaPo gives ink to Pomomusings! (Sigh.*) Then there’s Michael Spencer (a.k.a. Internet Monk) who gets quoted in the cover story of this week’s TIME Magazine (blasting Joel Osteen no less). Heck, even Tim Samoff got profiled in The Advocate (sort of … what the?! … OK you have to read that one to understand). Anyway, I did get linked from the Christianity Today Weblog that one time—which was a pretty big deal (for me at least)—but that’s not nearly as cool as getting your actual words published in ink on a dead tree. Right? OK pity part over … Thanks for listening … [...]
