What is the real root of this is a fact that Christian leaders {especially in fundamentalism and now among the religious right} are refusing to allow their congregations to grow up. Instead of letting them be adults and giving the adults the freedom to pursue anything having trust that the people have been instilled Bible values, they become overcontrolling, treat the people like children who can not think, pray, and discern for themselves, and try to make the decisions for them. They insult the intelligence and Christian spirituality of the believer at the same time ‘desovereignitize’ a sovereign God believing that God can not guide the believer into a path of purity and help the believer make right choices unless the leaders are ‘doing their job’ and have their hands involved into the situations.

When these christian bigwigs do this stuff, they literally say that you can not do this yourself and you need them in order to live for God and breaking away from them makes you apostate and makes you somehow unable to make Godly choices and be responsible for these choices. What we need here is for Christians to start acting like adults again who can think, pray, feel, read the Bible, discern, etc. for themselves. What we need is to demonstrate faith that we can trust our fellow believer to make the right choices in a time of testing and adults are responsible for adult choices.

We ‘eliminate’ temptations instead of overcoming them. Nowhere in the Bible does it state that temptation was eliminated. We come up with an alternative solutions remaining in the insular bubble. If your Christian parents have trained you up in the ways of the Lord that per His Word will never depart from you, then you should have the word of God ingrained in you to the point where you can overcome temptation when it appears. If you go out and you know what the word of God states, then you should be able to stand on your own two feet and overcome temptation by saying no to the temptation and remain pure.

Ever since the past November election where the Democrats (aka DEMONcrats within the religious right circles) gained some ground in Congress, the shift in Christian media from the money for prosperity to money for fighting the DEMONcrats, the ACLU, anybody we boycott, etc. has come out in full force. And I’ll tell you, there are some angry televangelists playing the threat of the ‘liberal secular humanists’ taking the nation over in 2008 when the onslaught of secular humanism has gone on deeper and more intense during the past eight years of the God’s Official Party.

I’ll tell you what will happen when pastors become politicians and democracy becomes theocracy. The Christians who gathered up all the believers to join in the overthrow will turn on themselves and go after Christians who do not march lock-stock-and barrel within their own ranks. Much like we see the Middle East where they unite to defeat an enemy but will kill someone within their own ranks who slightly disagrees in the name of God. The utopia called Christian America will become the Middle West and have a very ugly civil war where each side has their own churches, armies, fundraisers, and prophets predicting victory for their side and doom to the other side while saying they are God’s blessed and call other Christians not in 100% unanimity are God’s cursed. Both sides will state tragedy against their dissenters is God’s judgment while attacks against them is the grand attack.

What would start out as an alliance to defeat Satan (or ‘Great Satan’) will evolve after the original “Satan’ was defeated into redefining who the ‘next Satan’ is because the funding was based on fighting the Holy War. If there is no war, then there is no funds. Therefore, to maintain the Christian cash cow, Satan will have to be redefined as the minority Christian belief set within the original alliance. Brother kills brother for the agenda of another and no one wins and both actually loses.

The ‘culture war’ has gone on ever since the Bible was written. Nothing new about the war itself. However, the tactic for surviving the war changed from overcoming with spiritual armor and living in a world while not being a part of it to eliminating with legislation and constitutional amendments and living in a bubble outside of a world.

The church of Acts survived by overcoming but when Christians can not eliminate the Democrat dog catcher, we’re the persecuted. The church of Acts survived by praying to God and not preying on congressmen to pass certain laws. The church of Acts survived by reading the Word and not revising and rewriting God’s word into Jehovah Jihad who kills those who disagree. The church of Acts survived by fasting and not by being the fastest to the polls every first Tuesday in November. The church of Acts survived by being their brother’s keeper and aided the poor, orphaned, and widows instead of redefining the term ‘brother’ when a new wealthy and influential person walked in the doors of the church. The church in Acts survived by fulfilling the Great Commission and being ‘evangelical’ instead of allowing government to be the evangelist and rename agenda as commission. The church in Acts survived by allowing Apostles to form churches instead of creating church of the government. The church in Acts allowed the prophets to edify the church via the Scriptures instead of composing the divine plan and eliminate anyone who doesn’t follow the script. The church in Acts allowed the pastors and teachers to bring meat of the Word instead of pablum about finding purpose, destiny, and your next mansion and Lexus.

The Christians were designed to be one body with many parts, not factions of Trinitarian Tribes not satisfied until the last member of the opposing tribe is dead.
