The Boars Head Tavern in this post talks about a Mark Driscoll article entitled “The Banned Church Planting Video where a church planting conference decided not to hand out copies of this video after it was shown to the people at the conference because Bill Hybels criticized the video over the fact that it did not speak of women church planters.

Sheesh, this just happened, and Driscoll is already out self-promoting it?! That’s pathetic. Driscoll’s misogynistic approach to ministry (while, granted, it is the dominant theme in American Christianity) is still sick and wrong. Hybels is a hero in my book for *gently* rebuking him on this one point. “Bibles, Not Hybels”? That’s just funny.
