Okay, so two people encouraged me to prophesy, soooo … here goes!
Today the Lord was speaking to me about this board.
There are people on (name of forum deleted) with the prophetic gift. You may or may not be called as a prophet in that full-time ministry; it is the difference between one who can play the piano and a concert piano player.
Just because you may not be a prophet does not mean you don’t have the gift of prophecy; likewise, having the gift does not make you a prophet.
But that said …
Some of us, whether the gift or whether the office of prophecy, have words to share here which God has given them to share. You have seen the word confirmed. Some of you have even shared with others, and have received confirmation. God has sent several and various affirmations of what he has told you to speak.
He reminded me of Jeremiah 1:6,7
- when Jeremiah bristled at the call of God.
6Then said I, “Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child”. 7But the LORD said unto me, Say not, “I am a child”: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
And there has been a natural reluctance on your part to speak, for reasons known to you as a person. It may be your past or your fear of the future.But the Lord says to be very strong and courageous, and speak what He has spoken to you.
For even as King Saul did prophesy when the prophets prophesied, and with the prophets, even so as you speak the word God has given you, the gifts of others will be activated. For there are many gifts of God on this board, and you stirring your gift will cause the gifts of others to be activated when they see your boldness and receive of that anointing.
For some have been like the man at the pool, waiting for the angel to stir the waters before he would move.
But I tell you as Paul told Timothy in the second epistle, “I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
He told Timothy, “THOU stir up the gift of God which is in thee”.
He didn’t say “Go to Benny Hinn, and let him stir up the gift that is in thee.”
He didn’t say “Turn on TBN and watch Juanita Bynum, and let that power stir up the gift in you.”
He didn’t say “You have to wait for your pastor to lay hands on you to stir up the gift in you.”
NO!
He said “YOU stir up the gift that is in you.”
If you’ve ever drank coffee that had the sugar and cream, but wasn’t stirred up, it is the same coffee, but it is just not the same taste.
Likewise, when you go forth in your daily life, you are the same Christian, but you do not have the same flavor about you that you would have if you were stirred up, with everything in motion and activated.
And as you go forward in your boldness to exercise this gift, you will find this place to be one of the training grounds where God refines you and prepares you for “the greater work”. You will find that as you exercise more and more what God gives you, he will give you even more.
Just like when the man is in a cave, and he moves toward what light he’s shown, he receives more light. So God will open this up to you, and move in you more and more as he sees you faithful with the firstfruit he has given you.
There are people on this board who are tossing and turning in their sleep.
They have questions for which there seem to be no answers.
Their lives are tossed to and fro with seemingly no solutions.
Their trouble seems to have no end in sight.
They seek a true word in season to him that is weary.
They seek one who listens to God and speaks for God.
They are wanting the word which will quench their thirst.They are waiting for you to speak what is in your heart. They are standing at locked doors, waiting for you to come with the key, the word which will help them move to where God wants them as that door opens to greater things.
I am completely convinced that some situations in lives here at (name of forum deleted) could be quickly resolved as the light of God shines down on it to show the way through the word of those who God gives to prophesy here.
You do not have to wait until you have a stage and a microphone.
You do not have to wait until there are big crowds.
You do not have to wait until “just the right moment”.The place is here.
The time is now.As you open up and give what has been given to you, you will affect destiny, and you will see change in the lives of others. You will see things of God like you have never seen them before. You will see hopes and dreams birthed in people.
You will see long-awaited visions come to pass.
You will see rewards received.
You will see families restored.
You will see hope made alive again.
You will see futures made present.Things that have been prayed for OVER and OVER and OVER here on (name of forum deleted) will cease being a problem when the God-appointed word is released into their lives.
People will literally begin moving forth in God into their destinies in Him.
Miracles, healings, deliverances, wisdom for crises, emergency words, relationships restored - these things are all in the hand of God, waiting to burst forth as grapes on a vine in the time of harvest - all because of your word fitly spoken like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
And this will be, and all because you opened your heart, and released the gift God has given you to speak.
So do not be afraid any longer.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. - Joshua 1:9
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid. - Psalm 27:1
Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. - Isaiah 41:10
The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. - Isaiah 50:4
God’s speaking to me right now about people on (name of forum deleted) who through the blending of music ministry + prophetic ministry truly minister into people’s lives. You asked God for a confirmation of it, and yes, he is doing it in you, and will do it in you.
There are psalmists here on (name of forum deleted) - you will move in musical anointing to prophesy, as the sons of Asaph did when they used instruments to prophesy. David played on his harp, and the demons were driven from King Saul because of the anointing on his life. The music ministered to King Saul.
Demons will flee.
Mental conditions will evaporate.
Hurts will dispel away into shadow.
Old memories will be given redemption.
Past hurts between people will be released and resolved.
Sinners will be brought forth to God.
People who wandered from God will be drawn back to God.People will be given encouragement and anointing to do what they never thought they could before in life and in God.
I would also like to encourage and caution you all on the worship teams to remember that Satan hates worship, and the Devil will do whatever he can to destroy that ministry in the church. I have seen it time and time again - pride because of talent, offense, ego, stubbornness, cliques, gossip and whisperings, spiritual sabotage, critical attitudes, he said / she said, drama - all these things try to enter in to the music ministry. I have worked with enough people in worship teams to see how Satan loves to come in and cause discord among the brethren in that small, tight-knit, and precious group of ministers.
Be on guard about it.
