Well, actually, in this article, the direction that “new leaders,” Jackson and Perkins want to take the Christian Right is encouraging. I especially like their statement that they want to unhinge it from the Republican Party. Now, if they just don’t connect it to the New Christian Left and the Democratic Party which is just the opposite version of the new Christian Right, and don’t unhinge it from the cross, we might be going in the right direction.
