A Mockingbird Song For God?

Last night at the Lakeland Revival, the worship leader re-wrote “The Mockingbird Song” (a.k.a. ‘Hush, Little Baby’)
She sang
“Daddy’s going to buy you a mocking bird,
and if that mocking bird don’t sing,
daddy’s going to buy you a dimond ring,
and if that diamond ring don’t shine,
he’s going to say your mine, your mine,…”
This is awful ‘whoreship’. In fact, she sung certain stanzas over and over again in a mantra to exite the crowd frenzy.

Admin, are you collecting “crazy preacher” videos and news items these days? This stuff could have come from News of the Weird.
It was probably inevitable. With all the “Just like fill-in-the-blank, except CHRISTIAN!” going around these days, why not “Just like News of the Weird, except CHRISTIAN!”
Now that the going’s gotten weird, when do we get to turn pro?
