I was watching a YouTube clip of Patricia King talking about the Lakeland Revival and for some reason, the first thing that came into my mind was the lyrics to a very controversial song…..

I went and looked at the lyrics and listened to the song again and it was ‘perplexed, amazed, and amuzed’ at what I saw and heard.

The Gold Dust, the ‘prophetic words’ used to get what they come for (money) without having to sell the book and tape series along with the ’sign on the wall’ having two meanings (meaning one the ‘prophecy’ and meaning two the reinterpretation-retraction when it doesn’t come true).
The piper singing in mantra leading them into a ‘revival reason’ of a new day appearing for a ‘new move’ of God. And he is calling you to join him. A new dominion of a Latter Rain spearheaded by some Manifested Sons of God and Manchild.
Can you hear the wind blow, the songbirds singing, the forests echo with laughter, and any other metaphorical metaphysics going on?????
The bustle in the hedges leading to the ’spring cleaning’ for the May queen. When did this revival really gain momentum? During the month of may when it really got popular. Many with the revival believe that this is the ‘great cleaning and purging’ as the ‘Christian Civil War’ has now been declared because of a ’stirring’ that is going on.
All this revival really is is the attempt to ‘buy the stairway to heaven’ similar to the way the Tower of Babel was built in Genesis 11. It is the building of some other way but God’s way to try to get to heaven via our own ways and means. The people who built Babel eventually got scattered to and fro. Is there a chance that God would scatter the people who built the Lakeland Revival with their won means, ways, and hands to and fro?
Wind on down the wide road of the ’sighs and wanders’ and one day we will see that the shadow of what will be left behind will in fact be taller than the fortitude of their soul. People leaving more hungry and destitute than the condition they came in originally. We are not seeing a repentance nor a change in the atmosphere. All we are seeing is a ‘pentecostal party’ and a ‘charismatic celebration’ while the world outside is sick, dying, and searching for an answer to their real life’s real problems. People do not want portals, they want power. The physical tattoos and piercings of our spiritual self-infliction are really the sign of the disturbed state Christianity is in today while the lady and the angel Emma is shining a false white light and trying to turn everything into Gold that turns out to be a fools gold.
Sing the tune that comes to us (la da da… la da da….) and hear how everyone has become one with the bizarre. From the kneeing in the spirit, the leg-dropping of the pastor, to the warfare dance, to the guy being ’slain’ with the computer being carefully held to to keep from breaking (if God moved, wouldn’t he protect the computer?). But as the Zeppelin song states, they came all as one and one as all ‘to be a rock and not roll’ via the Manifest Sons of God / Dominionist / Kingdom Now teachings instead of allowing God to build His church on the Rock with a firm foundation that will never roll when compared to sinking sand or shifting tides.
Deep down inside, there is a dominionalist message of taking dominion and acting like they are God. They want to be the rock instead of having their feet planted on the Rock!!!
It makes me wonder sometimes if these people really believe that the Bible is so boring that they have to add their ‘extra’ stuff to not only make it more exciting but to make it an ‘additional requirement’ along with Jesus to be considered as ’saved’ or ‘anointed’? Why can’t we take the Bible at face value and believe what it says? Where in the Bible is portals or cyclone / anti-cyclone vibrations that Bob Jones talks about?
Instead of running the race of the faith (horizontal) to receive our reward at the end of life, we build a tower (vertical) wanting the ‘reward’ now.

There is time to go back down the narrow road to orthodoxy.
I see you remembered that “Stairway to Heaven” was the favorite demo reel for Backwards Masking Conspiracy types — remember them from the Satanic Panic of the Eighties?

Yeah. The preacher that started the whole scare preached about 20 miles from me — “Pastor Gary of Eagle’s Nest” in Long Beach. Always used to end his pitch with “Stairway to Heaven” backwards, after telling the audience just what they were about to hear. Some oral history from that period:
1) Radio talk-show host Rich Buhler interviewed Pastor Gary, got the whole pitch, then decided to start the next day with a bit of a joke.
Signed on with how he was so disturbed he checked the station’s morgue for tapes and found (reverb) THIS (/reverb) when played backwards:
“Here it says ‘He is lord’…”
(tape) “Eeeeeeeeshooooooooooorrrrr…”
“Here it says ‘Satan is with you and me’…”
(tape) “Sssssnnnnwwwssoooooooooyyyyeeeeeee…”
