Evedently according to this worldnetdaily article, an American pastor by the name of Mark Blitz is going to organize a global “Day of Shouting” and shofar blowing on the evening of Sept. 29 (which coincides with the Jewish holiday known as The Feast of Trumpets, therefore, since they blow shofars on the same day as the Feast of Trumpets, then God has to ‘do something’).

It appears that the point of this event is to get Christians in every time zone signed up to blow shofars and to shout various names of God. in order for tell the

Let’s see here, yesterday was the one year anniversary of Lou Engle’s The Call 7-7-07 in Nashville and they had a big shofar blowing ceremony (see video below) then thinking that God was going to move and outlaw pornography, gay marriages, the Democrats, abortion, etc.and we can clearly see that the big shofar blowing ceremony from last year hasn’t worked.

What is it with correlating activities on days with cool number dates, days of Jewish holidays, or anniversaries that makes Christians think that because everything correlates that God will stop what he’s doing and create a domionist utopia?
