After coming home from church today in both a state of shock and a state of ‘anger’, I went online and via my typical blog reading schedule came across this article from Ken Silva (see the ‘rebuke’ in the comments section below) Lane Chaplin about “Ronnie”
You were probably expecting me to finish that statement with the phraze

The Scriptures taken from Ezekiel 13: 1-7 (NKJV version)
And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, ‘Hear the word of the LORD!’”
Thus says the Lord GOD: “Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! O Israel, your prophets are like foxes in the deserts. You have not gone up into the gaps to build a wall for the house of Israel to stand in battle on the day of the LORD. They have envisioned futility and false divination, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD!’ But the LORD has not sent them; yet they hope that the word may be confirmed. Have you not seen a futile vision, and have you not spoken false divination? You say, ‘The LORD says,’ but I have not spoken.”
As I was reading the numerous automobile blogs I go at least once a week, I read posts about the declining American auto industry and how they want the government to bail them out like the government bailed out the banks. GM wants to buy it’s crosstown rival Chrysler from Cerberus while proclaiming that it has only enough reserve cash to last until December 31, 2008.
I had never heard of this teaching before until I came across this link (via a comment the author left over at this blog)
