Edited 12/06/09 11:30 AM – The story was so compelling that I just had to add it for those interested enough to read it.
Pajama Pages – Holy rage at the ‘Spring – no human being should ever have to experience what this man has had to endure. Why did he have to endure all of this garbage that happened to him? Because he was an apologetic critic of a “seeker-sensitive” church in his city and he dared to speak out. From what I have interpreted by reading the entire article, and the church’s response, it is still not over, done, and resolved.

Raewhitlock.com – “Gospel Transformation” mind-dump – I was on twitter when he started tweeting these ideas and I am glad he formulated these ideas into a blog post
Religion Dispatches – Recovering From Rejection: The Second Coming of Ted Haggard – By Wendy Norris – This is a deeply disturbing article from the content of coming across that rejection was the deeper root problem than Haggard’s two other problems to another controversial figure in Christianity (C. Peter Wagner / Lakeland Revival) calling out Haggard as being wrong. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black
World of Dod – World of Dod – A ‘cartoon” blog I discovered (and now I have on the blogroll) via some link surfing that has these one frame cartoons per post depicting the excesses of the Charismatic / third wave / riverite / revival movement. Especially in light after spending a couple of hours watching the self-proclaimed “America’s Next Revival” that is supposed to be taking place at IHOP-KC from IHOP-KC’s own streaming site
New York Magazine – Tim Keller Wants to Save Your Yuppie Soul – A very interesting look into the man who is pastoring one of America’s most unique churches
Internet Monk – On The Way To Being “The New Humanity”
The Writing on The Wall – Junior Schuller walks in his Dad’s footsteps The “ousted Schuller along with the founder of GodTube.com recently purchased a television network.
kinnon.tv – What is What a good look into modern youth ministry in which he finally states “What we win them with, is what we win them to. Win them with entertainment, and you’ve created customers – who expect to be continually entertained.”

GM (as in General Motors) – America’s next-generation police cruiser. Yes, it appears that the General is getting serious about re-entering the police cruiser market with this ex Pontiac G8, a middle east caprice, and Australian Holden Caprice or Statesman re-badged as the Chevrolet Caprice (a consumer version will not be available stateside, but “unmarked” law-enforcement vehicles will be available…. HMMM!) and re-retrofitted with law enforcement duty heavy-grade accessories. You have to hover over the dots on this site for more information. However, the guys over at Leftlanenews.com has more detailed information and some up-close pictures.
