AOL News (via e-mail from Diane at Crossroads blog) – Wife of Televangelist Benny Hinn Files for Divorce and Charisma Magazine Wife of Evangelist Benny Hinn Files for Divorce – What is it about all of these high-profile charismatic, dominionist, and hyper prosperity doctrine preachers that always seem to have marriage problems and file for divorce? Is this the “Holy Ghost Enema” versus the “Holy Ghost Machine Gun”? If they do get divorced, will Benny ‘curse’ her like he is well known for doing to his enemies?

    I think this is another case of CELEBRITIES and “The Universe Cannot Have Two Centers”. Just like you read in all the Celebrity gossip zines (Brangelina, anyone?), except with a Christian (TM) coat of paint.

    Isn’t their something somewhere in the Torah or Prophets about your antics making God look like an idiot or joke? Some variant on the original Jewish application about “Taking The-NAME in Vain”?

    Is this the “Holy Ghost Enema” versus the “Holy Ghost Machine Gun”?

    All I can say is the whole “Holy Ghost Enema” shtick is what puts Benny’s soon-to-be-ex at the top of my “Crazy Preacher Lady” list, edging out Shaking Stacy into second place.

    Compared to Tatted Todd or Tokin-the-Ghost Jehovah-juana Clowther (sp?), “Holy Ghost Machine Gun” is at best a distant third place in the Crazy Preacher-Man list, a variant of Pentecostal Witchcraft putting the Hex on you.

    If they do get divorced, will Benny ‘curse’ her like he is well known for doing to his enemies?

    Is the Pope Catholic?
