Core Values

I believe that there is one living and true God eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. {Trinity}

I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only son. I believe that Jesus is both God and man. I believe in his virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, teachings, atoning death for my sins, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and personal and visible second coming back to earth.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righetousness, and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe. I believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all of the biblical gifts of the Spirit.

I believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the Word of God, fully inspired, and the Infallable rule of faith and practice, and that they are to be interpreted according to their context and purpose.

I believe that all people are sinful by nature and choice and are therefore under condemnation and in need of salvation. Salvation is offered to ALL MANKIND and is found only in accepting the atoning death consisting of the shedding of His blood for your sins, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ alone. I believe that salvation is by the grace of God alone.

I believe in the church, both Invisible and Visible, world-wide and local, the living and spiritual body, of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members.

I believe in the sacraments of Baptism by immersion into water and the Lord’s Supper {Communion}.

I believe that the church is intended by God to observe the ordanices of Christ, govern by His law, exercise the gifts, privileges, and discipline invested in the church by His Word and His Holy Spirit, and seeking to extend the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

I believe in the personal, visible appearing of Christ to earth and the consummation of His Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, the final judgement and eternal blessing of the righetous, and the endless suffering of the wicked.

How was AVAILABLE LIGHT ONLINE born?

This page was created and appeared online on April 1, 1997. At that time, the Internet was lacking in quality Christian content while seeing ministry opportunities online being squandered.

Why is “world” misspelled?

Wwworld is not misspelled. The www in wwworld means world wide web. It is the scope of this web page to reach out via the World Wide Web.

Why focus specifically on the Internet?

There are ministries that do an great job of going out physically and reaching unchurched people. However, there are people online that need Jesus in their lives. The Internet is the greatest pathway of global communications available and I want to be an outreach there.

Where are your ministry headquarters?

Right here online. Without overhead, we are focused to take the Gospel to the Internet.

What Denomination are you?

I am a thinking Christian who attends a Spirit-filled Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Are you available for appearances?

As of this time, I am not able to physically make appearances. However, I can be contacted via e-mail about guest appearances in chatrooms, interviews in magazines, blogs, radio, and television.

How long have you been born-again?

Twenty-Three Years as of June, 2008.

What is “AntiChrist of The Week”

The ‘anti-christ of the week’ started out as a joke that just snowballed. A friend of mine and I were watching television one night when a news item came on about Winona Ryder being charged with shoplifting and I just blurted out these words in a sarcastic tone “Winona Ryder, Anti-christ of the week”. My friend busted out laughing and rolled out of the couch to the floor in an hysterical fit. After he got over the humor, he proceeded to tell me the story (very similar to the way the antichrist was treated in pentecostal / holiness circles growing up) how when he grew up in independent Baptist fundamental circles, everytime someone made the world news, that person somehow became the most probable candidate to be the ‘one world government anti christ’ and how the bible prophecy teachers just re-issued and recycled their books, tapes,
etc. substituting the current newsmaker’s name as the antichrist.

We then started naming all the people and things we heard were at one time the antichrist from the Pope, King Juan Carlos, the credit card, Henry Kissinger, Gorbachev, HAL9000, Britney Spears, ‘the beast’ supercomputer in Brussels Belgium, Bill Gates, Jimmy Carter, Yasser Arafat, Bob Geldof (Live Aid), IDI Amin, Marshall Tito, Jesse Jackson, Daniel Ortega, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Elian Gonzalez, Francois Mitterand, etc. We then treated it like a game show stating if we had the money, we would send these people who were named antichrist of the week some Lee press on nails, Rice-a-roni, and a software version of our future antichrist of the week board game.

When I started blogging, I mentioned to a friend that I wanted to add ‘antichrist of the week’ as a weekly feature on my blog to which he stated his approval. Now one small upstart Christian portal has e-mailed me about the possibly of them syndicating my antichrist of the week post on their humor section of their portal.
