Onward, Forward, Toward…

I was watching ESPN’s Pardon The Interruption (whispering “PTI”) when Kornheiser and Wilbon broke a story about a 60 Minutes segment to be aired Sunday November 6, 2005 where 60 Minutes correspondent Steve Krof interviews the great quarterback of the New England Patriots.

After dealing with Ophelia, I was listening last night to the AllNight show on ESPNRadio hosted by Jason Smith and he stated something about some changes that were going to take place as he was the new host. I thought that I was partially asleep when I heard that until I went to the AllNight page and read:

Jason Smith is the new host of AllNight, starting Sept. 16. Todd Wright’s contract was not renewed after a nine-year tenure at ESPN Radio. Smith comes to ESPN full-time as host of AllNight …

It is very hard to believe that twenty-five years ago on February 22, 1980, the “Miracle On Ice” took place where the US Hockey team defeated the Soviet Hockey team 4-3. Last year, I wrote this article entitled “Do You Believe In Miracles”? that talked about my memories of twenty-five years ago and my feelings about the Disney movie “Miracle” released last year.
