After dealing with Ophelia, I was listening last night to the AllNight show on ESPNRadio hosted by Jason Smith and he stated something about some changes that were going to take place as he was the new host. I thought that I was partially asleep when I heard that until I went to the AllNight page and read:

Being at work all day, I have not been able to follow the baseball hearings in Congress until I got home around 4 PM EST. I have had to go to this page and get the rundown along with watching clips on other cable channels.

It is very hard to believe that twenty-five years ago on February 22, 1980, the “Miracle On Ice” took place where the US Hockey team defeated the Soviet Hockey team 4-3. Last year, I wrote this article entitled “Do You Believe In Miraclesâ€? that talked about my memories of twenty-five years ago and my feelings about the Disney movie “Miracle” released last year.

Reading the sports pages online after the first series of football games, I was reminded about an interesting piece of sports statistics that has occurred since the late 1930’s. Adam Schefter’s special article to NFL.com entitled Redskins to cast the deciding vote discussed this phenomeon where every time before the presidental election:
